Celtics Hold Off Hornets, Win 113-107

The Celtics look to get their third win in a row in a big matchup against the Charlotte Hornets. Boston mustered up some strong defense and pulled out the big win over Charlotte 113-107.

“We’ve been in enough close games … that’s a sign of growth, we’ll take it, we’ve been on the other end,” said Ime Udoka in his postgame interview.

After Boston’s struggles on the season, this win over Charlotte was a big step in the right direction for the team. “Seeing us kind of turn that narrative around is good,” said Richardson, “Hopefully we can continue that.”

Marcus Smart voiced his support for teammates Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, and credited their ability to get the ball to others when the defenses are locking in on the duo. “They have to do a good job at it and they’re doing a phenomenal job at it.”
