Evan Fournier was interviewed at the Celtics practice as the team prepares for the Brooklyn Nets. Fournier was asked about the challenge ahead for Boston, and the talent that the Nets have.
“When you play the best teams in the NBA, you have to compete with them. You have to show them that everything they’re going to get is hard and that it’s going to be a long series”, says Celtics Guard Evan Fournier, as he answer questions ahead of the Celtics vs Nets matchup in the NBA playoffs starting tomorrow at 8 PM.
Fournier reflects on his last year’s experience in the playoffs with the Magic, including the boycott. Also, what is ahead for the Celtics, the key for them to win vs the Nets, and what is the mindset heading into the playoffs.
Fournier is now stepping up in the starting role with starting All-Star Guard Jaylen Brown out for the remainder of the season. So far with the Celtics, he has averaged 13 PTS, 3 ASTS, 3 REBS in 16 games. Against the Nets, he has averaged around the same, 13 PTS, 3ASTS, and 2 REBS in 28 Min.
