Kyrie Irving led off his return to Boston burning sage on the TD Garden floor, before rejoicing with teammates in an empty stadium. It would’ve been a completely different return if not for COVID-19 emptying the stands. His last game with the Celtics at TD Garden was a blowout loss to the Bucks in the 2019 NBA Playoffs that put Boston behind 3-1 in the series as Irving shot to oblivion.
