The Celtics held practice today ahead of their Game 2 matchup vs the Brooklyn Nets tomorrow. Brad Stevens gave a health update on center Robert Williams. He said they are trying to keep him off his feet, but that he “should be ready to go tomorrow.”
Tristan Thompson also spoke after the practice. He commented on the need for fans at TD Garden for this series:
“It’s like history, pride…being a part of that is definitely an honor,” said Thompson. “Always loved playing in the Garden…that was a big reason why I wanted to be a part of this team…we just need some fucking fans in the arena, that’s what we need.”
It was recently announced that fans will be allowed back at near full capacity at TD Garden starting on May 29. That will be just in time for Game 4, a Boston home game.
Game 2 will take place at Barclays Center tomorrow. Tip-off is set for 7:30 PM on TNT.
