The Boston Celtics returned to Milwaukee to take on the Bucks in a win-or-go-home matchup. With their backs against the wall, Boston came to play on both sides of the ball. Jayson Tatum shined for the Celtics, notching 46 points and leading the charge for the guys in green. In a crucial game, Tatum stepped up to the plate and delivered a 108-95 win for the Celtics, and will host the Bucks on Sunday for the Game 7 finale.
When discussing Tatum’s performance, Head Coach Ime Udoka said “Huge night by him. He made plays when we needed them. A lot of other guys too.”
On returning to the garden for Game 7, Marcus Smart said “It’s gonna be loud. It means a lot. I just know that being on the road, in Boston, for a Game 7, that’s not a place you want to be.”
Jaylen Brown said “that was a big-time performance … Definitely a signature game for the Celtics and for Jayson.”
On what he thinks of Game 7 at the Garden, Jayson Tatum said it’s “the best atmosphere in the NBA.”
