Drew Butler and Nick Bahe from Betonline.ag preview this weekend’s BIG 10 tournament. According to Betonline.ag, the odds to win the tournament are as followed: Michigan (+180), Illinois (+225), Iowa (+350), Ohio State (+750), Purdue (+800), Wisconsin (+1400), and Michigan St. (+2200). Drew is rolling with Iowa this weekend. While Joe Wisekamp is questionable to play, the Hawkeyes are led by standout senior Luka Garza. The 6’11” center has been nothing short of dominant this season. He’s averaging 23.8 points and 8.7 rebounds a night, which puts him at third in the nation in scoring. On top of that, Iowa has won seven of their last eight, including a win over conference rival Ohio State. The Hawkeyes “play really good against tough competition,” according to Drew, which is why he’s taking them to win the BIG 10.
As for Nick, he’s going with Illinois in the tournament. The Fighting Illini are led by junior Ayo Dosunmu and sophomore Kofi Cockburn. Dosunmu is a 6’5″ guard averaging 20.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.2 assists a game. Meanwhile, Cockburn is a 7’0″ center putting up 17.3 points and 9.6 boards a game. Dosunmu is also “the best clutch player in America,” according to Nick. Having that clutch factor will be huge in the BIG 10 tournament.
Games for the tourney have already started, so get your bets in as soon as possible! Drew and Nick made their picks, but it’s still anybody’s tournament to win. Make sure to lock in all your bets at Betonline.ag using the code CLNS50.
